Work Environment:

This role requires working outdoors in various environmental conditions, including:

  • Organic farming environment
  • Exposure to dust, noise, and fluctuating temperatures (hot, cold/refrigerated)
  • Physically demanding tasks
  • Work is conducted entirely on-site with no remote options

Job Responsibilities:

As a Vineyard Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Guiding growing shoots into optimal positions for healthy development
  • Managing and maintaining the growth of vines, vine canopies, and grapes
  • Manually removing all suckers and water sprouts
  • Tying and securing plants for stability and proper growth
  • Harvesting crops efficiently and with care
  • Ensuring plants are properly pruned and maintained throughout the growing season
  • Monitoring vine health and reporting any issues to supervisors
  • Assisting with irrigation tasks as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
  • Language Requirement: Basic proficiency in English

Work Conditions & Physical Demands:

This job requires individuals who can handle physically demanding tasks, including:

  • Repetitive motions
  • Lifting and carrying loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Walking across uneven terrain
  • Working in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
