Job Requirements

• Language: Basic English
• Education: Secondary school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year (experience with farm machinery is a strong asset)
• Relocation: Willing to relocate to a rural and remote area in Saskatchewan
• Work Location: On-site only

Job Duties and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a wide range of general farming tasks, including:

• Cutting and harvesting crops
• Planting, cultivating, and irrigating grains and canola
• Operating and maintaining modern farm machinery and equipment
• Fertilizing and spraying crops
• Detecting crop disease and livestock health issues
• Cleaning and maintaining the work area
• Working outdoors in various weather conditions

Machinery and Tools Experience

Applicants with experience in the following will be preferred:

• Tractor, combine harvester, loader, swather, seed drill
• Fertilizer applicators, sprayers, tillage equipment
• Farm trucks and lift trucks
• Welding tools and general hand tools

Work Conditions

• Fast-paced environment
• Physically demanding tasks
• Requires lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Extended periods of standing, walking, sitting
• Exposure to dust, odors, weather, and noisy machinery

Personal Qualities

• Team player
• Organized and able to work independently
• Able to meet deadlines under pressure
• Physically fit and detail-oriented
