Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty dishes
• Plan menus, estimate food requirements and costs
• Requisition food and supplies
• Supervise kitchen staff and train new cooks
• Handle food for clients with allergies or special needs
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Organize banquets, buffets, and special events
• Manage inventory, equipment, and kitchen operations
• Create new recipes and analyze operating costs
• Consult with clients and instruct team on advanced techniques
